Clayton Campbell's studio is in Santa Monica, California.

Mr. Campbell has extensively exhibited his paintings, drawings, and photographs since 1984. His most recent exhibitions were held at the Maison Europeenne de la Photographie, Paris; University of Nevada Las Vegas; and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art . His work is many private collections and in the public collections of the Maison Europeenne de la Photographie; the Library of Congress; the Santa Fe Museum of Fine Arts; the Phoenix Museum of Fine Arts; and the Center for Political Graphics.

He currently holds the positions of Co-Executive Director, 18 th Street Arts Center, Santa Monica; President, the International Association of Residential Arts Centres (Res Artis), Amsterdam, NL; Los Angeles Correspondent for Flash Art International magazine' (Milan); Santa Monica Editor for Contemporary magazine (London); Contributing writer to DART magazine (Toronto) and Afterimage magazine (New York).

His past experience as an arts facilitator and exhibition organizer includes; Program Director, the Kampo Cultural Center, New York; Production Manager, Theater of the Open Eye and the Joseph Campbell Foundation, New York; Founder, the Performing Space, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

He has organized over 50 exhibitions in Los Angeles since 1995 and has organized 150 artist residencies for international artists through the 18 th Street Arts Center.

In 2002 Clayton   was awarded the distinction of   'Chevalier' in the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government for his work in arts and culture.
